2013 IEA State Golf Tournament
The 2013 IEA State Golf Tournament will be held in Mt.Vernon at Green Hills Golf Club this July 25th - 28th.2012 IEA State Golf Tournament
The 2012 State Elks Golf Tourney was hosted by Kankakee Lodge #627 and held at the Elks Country Club on August 17-18.
Local Elk members that represented Centralia #493 were: Don Rightnowar, Bob Logullo, George Gray, Phil Richardson, Vernon Shook, Lloyd Wert, Steve Castleman, and Roger Bright.
Our members played in the men's senior division on Friday and enjoyed a great day of golf, weather, food, and various libations. Don Rightnowar won first place in the men's flight with a score of 66 ( using the Peoria scoring system). Our local Elks had a great time and all returned home safe and sound.

The 2011 Elks State Golf Tournament was held August 12, and 13 in Peoria, IL.
Centralia Lodge # 493 sent 12 golfers; Dean Bain, Roger Bright, Steve Castleman, Ron Donoho, George Gray, Kenny Hill, Bob LuGullo, Phil Richardson, Don Rightnower, Vernon Shook, Earl Toedte, & Grahm Updike. Six of the twelve were winners. They were cheered on by 2009 Elks Senior Champion Tom Gray and Senior Caddy Doug Wagner.2010 IEA State Golf Tournament
The 2010 Elks State Golf Tournament was held June 25, 26, and 27 in Pontiac, IL.
Centralia Lodge # 493 sent 8 Golfers to the seniors division on Friday; Dean Bain, Dennis Finley, George Gray, Tom Gray, Bobby Lugullo, Phil Richardson, Don Smith, & "Doc" Williams and they each thank the Lodge for this opportunity to represent it. The Pontiac Elks Golf Course is awesome. At 6300 yards it's probably the longest course for seniors around. Dennis, George, Bobby, Don, & "Doc" were all in the Money.
There was a scare though, when they couldn't find Bobby. A few minutes later he emerged from the rough and he explained he went to visit the Wizard. Now I wonder, "Why doesn't our Lodge have a Wizard? We have a Pianist!"2009 IEA State Golf Tournament
The 2009 Elks State Golf Tournament was held on July 17, 18, & 19 in Lincoln, IL.
Centralia Lodge # 493 had 8 members playing in the seniors division on Friday; Dean Bain, Dennis Finley, George Gray, Tom Gray, Bob Logullo, Don Rightnowar, Lloyd Wert, & Ed Williams. Our Lodge had three winners on Friday; Dennis Finley was third, Bob Logullo was second, and the Elks State Seniors Champion was our own Tom Gray, who shot a net 52.
The event was well attended by Elks and their wives from all around the state. All of those who played wish to thank our Lodge for the sponsorship and being able
to represent Centralia Lodge # 493.
