Laradon Hall Society For Exceptional Children and Adults is a private, non-profit organization which was founded in 1948 as the first alternative school for children with disabilities in the Rocky Mountain Region. Laradon serves children and adults with special needs from throughout the state of Colorado. Laradon was adopted as the SMP of the Colorado Elks in 1950.
Laradon provides training, education, services, and support to help children and adults with special needs live and work in the community. Laradon has an infant and toddler program, preschool, school and residential center for adolescents, training and employment program for adults and a recreational program for seniors.
Located in Denver, Laradon's program operations take place in residences, community centers, training facilities and private businesses throughout the Denver metropolitan area.
