Scholarships

Each year, we award scholarships to graduating high school seniors, women and children looking for a fresh start, and anyone preparing to return to the workforce.

Nationwide, our Elks scholar family is 17,000 strong, with 3,000 active scholars attending 65 unique U.S. institutions, and receiving over $3 million in scholarships.

WSEA Vocational Grant

The Washington State Elks Association (WSEA) Vocational Grant is designed to help graduating high school seniors pursue vocational education.  This grant may be used for tuition, fees, books, and supplies at a community college or technical school.  Any graduating high school student or general education student, who is a US citizen is eligible.

Joseph Darimont Vocational Award

This scholarship is designed to help individuals preparing to enter or return to the workforce.  It can be used for tuition, fees, books, and supplies.  This scholarship is available to US citizens who have completed high school.

Second Chances Scholarship

The Washington State Elks Association, Dorothy M. Yoders Scholarship is for women seeking vocational education in the State.  Scholarships up to $1,000 per quarter are based upon financial need and are renewable upon completion of the course and maintaining a 3.0 GPA.


Most Valuable Student

The Elks National Foundation (ENF) Most Valuable Student Scholarship is aimed at High School Seniors, or equivalent who are pursuing, full time, four-year degree at an accredited US college.  Students must be a US citizen. 

Legacy Award

The Elks National Foundation Legacy Award Scholarship is for children and grandchildren of Elk members in good standing.

Weigel Medical School Scholarship

The Elks National Foundation Weigel Medical School Scholarship is for Elks enrolled in their first year of medical school.  Student must be pursuing a medical degree or degree in Osteopathic Medicine.

Emergency Educational Grants

The Elks National Foundation Emergency Educational Grant is focused on assisting children of total disabled or deceased Elks.  The student must be enrolled in an accredited US college or university.
