Give back by supporting youth, veterans, and our community. That is how Elks show they care. Below is a list of volunteer opportunities. Click on the event or committee name to volunteer.
Lodge Office - Can you help us keep the lodge office open during the summer? Ideally, we would like the office open to assist our members from 10:00AM to 4:00PM, Mondays through Fridays, May to the end of September.
House Committee - Be part of the team that organizes and runs dinners, fund raisers, and activities of all types for the lodge. Volunteer to be a bar tender, food server, cook, dish washer, and more. Your help is what makes so many events enjoyable.
Membership Committee - Volunteer to help promote membership in the Puyallup Elk Lodge. Grow membership by encourage 60+ individuals from the local community to join our lodge, help escort newly initiated members through their first several lodge meetings, encourage participation in events, and help process membership renewals.
Communications Committee - Help spread the word about our lodge to Elk members and the community. Frequently update the lodge web site and Facebook pages. Do email blasts and text messaging to keep the membership engaged in the lodge and all the good things we do.
Veterans Committee - Volunteer to help the Puyallup Elks Lodge support veterans and active-duty military personnel and their families. Support homeless vets transition off the street and towards living productive lives.
Youth Committee - Help the Puyallup Elks Lodge support youth by organizing activities for the whole family such as Hoop Shoot, Lego Robotics Factory, sports, etc.
September 26th, 7:00AM to 2:00PM, DD Clinic - Once again, the Puyallup Elks Lodge is honored to host the District Deputy Clinic. Officers from six nearby lodges will attend an all-day training session at our lodge. We need help preparing and serving morning refreshments and lunch.
