11/5/2024 Rogers-Bentonville, AR Lodge No: 2144

uses its Gratitude Grant to support the local community in response to tornado damage that heavily impacted two local middle schools, including destroying the art department's supplies. The school operates out of temporary structures, and most students' art materials were damaged. The Lodge restocks the art department and purchases supplies.

11/5/2024 Stuart-Jensen, FL Lodge No: 1870

uses its Spotlight Grant for a Hunger and Essential Needs Assistance project. The need for food assistance is particularly urgent this year due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Milton and tornadoes that have left significant damage. The project addresses this pressing need by partnering with local organizations to provide food baskets to families affected by the disasters.

11/5/2024 Ely, NV Lodge No: 1469

uses its Beacon Grant to support two critical initiatives: food distribution through the food banks and providing hygiene products and essentials for a local women's center, that serves young women recovering from abuse, neglect, and drug addiction. Lodge members stock and distribute food at the food banks and communicate with the women’s center to meet their evolving needs.

The Elks National Foundation allocated nearly $16 million this year to fund the Community Investments Program. Lodges meet local needs through grants that offer Elks opportunities to serve their community in ways that will raise the Lodge's profile, energize the membership, encourage former members to return to the fold, and gain the notice of people who want to be part of an organization that's doing great things. To learn more about the Community Investments Program, please visit elks.org/CIP. If you would like to speak to someone in the CIP office, we can be reached at 773-755-4730.
