VETERAN FISHING OPPORTUNITIES
Veteran’s Fishing Trips! The Homer and Sitka Elks Lodges have asked the Alaska State Elks Wounded Veterans Project to send them some veterans for a fishing trip. Currently there are a total of 8 spots. The trips are Sitka May 9- 12 and Homer May 16-19. Any Elk member in good standing (dues paid) who is a veteran is eligible. If you are interested, stop by the Lodge and sign up for a chance no later than March 15. There are other Lodges who are also asking their members if they would like to go, so there will be a drawing to determine the winners. The ASEA Wounded Veterans Project will be providing the round trip transportation to Homer and Sitka, and the Lodges there will be providing fishing, food and Lodging. There may be a few incidentals you will be responsible for, but it is basically a free trip to say “Thank You” to our veterans
