Serving the Greater Des Moines area - Sponsor annual "Hoop Shoot" contests for local boys and girls- Support Veterans at local institutions- Recognize Outstanding Police Officers of the Year in several local jurisdictions - Run Major Drug Awareness programs at local schools- Provide scholarships through the Elks National- Foundation as well as our own local Lodge Scholarships- Organize annual Spot Shoot at the Iowa State Fair- work with Marine Corp Reserve "Toys-For-Tots" program- Adopt a Highway road maintenance- Work with the Lions Club in the collection of used eye glasses for those in need
