The application officially opened on September 1, 2020, and it closes on February 5, 2021 at 11:59 a.m. Central Time. All applications are to be completed online.
To be eligible, applicants must be the children or grandchildren of dues-paying Elks who joined the Order on or before April 1, 2018. Legacy Awards recipients are required to serve with an Elks Lodge at least once per year.
"To say I'm honored is an understatement," says 2020 Legacy Awards recipient Cori Hack, who is sponsored by Marshall County, Ky., Lodge No. 2707. "Since I was a little girl, I've looked up to the Elks because of what they've done for my community."
