2017 was another record year for the number of approved Beacon Grants. For the first time in the history of the Beacon Grant, more than 1,000 Beacon Grants have been approved! In March and April alone, the CIP office approved nearly 400 grants. We know every year can’t be record-breaking, but we’re happy to have met our goal of 1,000 Beacon Grants, thanks to Lodges across Elkdom. We will continue to work with Lodges to create active, Elk-led charitable projects in 2018, too! Until then, let’s celebrate! Cake anyone?
