  • Minnesota Elks Youth Camp

    The Minnesota Elks Youth Camp is the Minnesota Elks state project. The Minnesota Elks Youth Camp is a co-ed camp for deserving youth of Minnesota, ages nine through thirteen. Most campers are referred to local Elks Lodges through adults who know the child's family. Persons knowing young people who otherwise would not have such an opportunity are urged to contact their nearest Minnesota Elks Lodge.

  • Elks Scholarships for High School Seniors

    The Elks National Foundation will award 500 four-year scholarships to the highest-rated applicants in the competition. Ranging from $1,000 per year to $7,500 per year, Most Valuable Student scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), in a U.S. college or university. All scholarships are in the form of certificates of award conditional upon the full-time enrollment of the winner in an accredited U.S. college or university.   • Minnesota State Batters Up Contest

    Batters Up! is a FREE hitting competition in which kids compete against other kids their age to see who is crowned champion! The event is hosted by several Elks Lodges across the state as a family friendly activity for the local community. Contest rules are found on this site.

  • Americanism Essay Contest

    This contest is geared towards students in 5th through 8th grades to promote patriotism among young people.

  • Elks National Hoop Shoot

    The Elks "Hoop Shoot" Free Throw Contest is the largest and most visible of the many youth activities sponsored by Elks Lodges. More than three million boys and girls, ages 8-13, will participate this year. The Elks "Hoop Shoot" highlights the Elks commitment to America's youth. From the millions of youngsters who participate and advance through local, district, state and regional competition, six national champions are named - one boy and one girl in each of three categories: ages 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13. The Elks desire, through their "Hoop Shoot" program, to provide an interesting, character-building, competitive program for all girls and boys in the contest regardless of their previous athletic competition or abilities.
