Taunton Antlers 150

Who are the Antlers?

The Taunton Antlers 150 are the first Antlers group in Massachusetts and received their Charter effective April 1, 2019.   (Picture shows first Antlers Officers installed on March 18, 2019.)

The Antlers/Junior Elks Program offers an opportunity for ages 12 to 20 to be involved with the Taunton Elks in many of their service-related projects; as well as organizing their own community projects with the help of Elks members.  The goal of the Antlers Program is to create a foundation for civic engagement in our youth.

The major objectives of the Antlers of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America are as follows:

  • To quicken the spirit of American Patriotism
  • To teach respect for parents and love of home
  • To inculcate the fundamentals of good citizenship
  • To aid in a worthy cause
  • To establish foundation of character
  • To promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its Members
  • And to respect the conviction of others in the spirit of Americanism.

The Antlers program teaches Patriotism, Community Service, Family Values and Volunteerism in a fun and supporting environment.

Membership in the organization is open to any individual who has passed their twelfth and not yet reached their twenty-first birthday, who is a citizen of the United States of America, and of good character.
