After joining the Elks 24 years ago, Gary Sharp wasted no time getting involved. He became an officer one month after his initiation and hasn’t stopped since. This past year, he took on the challenge of serving as his Lodge’s ENF chair.

Under Gary’s leadership, Albion Lodge boasts a per capita of $9.76. He introduces members to the Foundation during Indoctrination and continually reminds them why they should lend their support. About 30 percent of Albion’s members donate annually with their dues.

Gary loves to work on computers. He recently began sending his Lodge’s remittances to the Foundation electronically. “We live in the computer age, and I take advantage of anything I can to make my life easier,” he explains. “Submitting donations electronically is fast, easy and precise.”

When he’s not busy volunteering at the Lodge or working on the computer, Gary enjoys spending time with his family and golfing. He coaches his 6- year-old son’s soccer team and referees high school soccer. We’re not sure how he finds the time to promote the ENF, but we’re glad he does!
