  • Chambers Creek Properties

    The Chambers Creek Properties are being developed by Pierce County into one of the finest multi-use parks in the U.S. The award-winning Chambers Bay golf course will be hosting the 2010 U.S. Amateur and 2015 U.S. Open Championships. The views across Puget Sound from the trails are stunning and not to be missed.

  • Historic Town of Steilacoom

    The Town of Steilacoom was the first incorporated community in the Territory of Washington. Remnants of the pioneer era have been preserved in the Historic District. The history of the native Steilacoom Tribe is presented in the Steilacoom Tribal Center & Museum. For picnic sites, there are few sites more scenic than Sunnyside Park and Beach with the distant Olympic Mountains in the background across the expanse of Puget Sound.
