Lounge in the Lodge

Well-stocked Lounge open every afternoon and evening... professional, friendly bartenders.

Pool tables, card room, lending library...and plenty of friendly Elks!

Monterey Elks RV

We have 12 spots with water and electricity. 5 dry camping spots and a dumpstation on the property. Wifi is also available.

Swimming Pool

Our Monterey Lodge has a swimming pool. We are generaly open from Memorial day to Labor Day, and there’s a separate children's pool -- and the pool area has a full view of beautiful Monterey Bay.

Just stop by the office to get a “pool bracelet” and sign in when you arrive. Sign in at the office M-F 10:00am - 3:00pm. Sign in at the bar after 3pm and weekends.  Please bring your current membership or spouse card.

Hours:  Daily 7:00am to 7:00pm (or dark whichever is earlier)

Gym

Our Monterey Lodge has a well-equipped Members gym with great equipment, a jacuzzi and showers.

Bocce Court

Come and enjoy the Bocce Court at our Monterey Lodge.  

We have a fine outdoor court....but when fog/rain interfere, we play inside!

Pool Rules

                       SWIMMING POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

         NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY — USE THE POOL AT YOUR OWN RISK                                                           

ALL MEMBERS, their families and guests ARE required to sign in with the office or the bar ( when the office is closed), show your membership card and receive a wrist band for use of the pool.

Members may bring up to 4 guests at a time to the pool over 4 guests there will be a $4.00 charge per person. Individuals at the pool without a wrist band will be asked to leave and sign in at the appropriate place before returning to the pool.

The member or member’s spouse must accompany their children and/or guest AT ALL TIMES AND REMAIN WITH THEM  IN THE POOL AREA. CHILDREN MAY NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN THE POOL AREA. Members ARE RESPONSIBLE for the conduct of their children/guests.

                                       

SAFETY RULES AND REGULATIONS:

GENERAL: One adult must accompany every 4 children. (NO MATTER THE AGE NO EXCEPTIONS!)             

 

CHANGING AREAS & RESTROOMS:

          GIRLS:  Enter Ladies Room under the pool. Pathway is near the Bocce courts.

           BOYS:  Enter the Restroom off the back deck near the BBQ area.

 

CHILDREN UNDER AGE 6: must be accompanied to the restrooms and changing rooms by an ADULT.

Swim diapers or swim pants should be worn by diapered children to avoid accidents. It is recommended that you change your child often and make frequent trips to the toilet while swimming. Floating devices and toys are welcome, but please don’t leave them at the pool.

Please use the trash containers around the pool for garbage. We need EVERYONE’S help to maintain a beautiful pool environment.

Members are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their children and guests.                                

 THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY

NO DIVING INTO THE POOL,  NO RUNNING ON POOL DECK

Safety and hygiene rules are posted on the pool deck.

The wading pool is for use by patrons six (6) years and under with a responsible party who is always within arms reach of the child and must supervise such patrons.

 MUSIC AT THE POOL:  No Boom Boxes or loud music—those wishing to listen to music should use their phones with headphones so as to not disturb others   

THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES OR ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED:

No food or drink in the wading swimming pool. NO GLASS—plastic cups or bottles MUST be used in the areas adjacent to the pools not in pools.

NO small toys in the pools. No loud yelling and screaming.

NO undue profanity. Any item or activity that creates a hazard to patrons or to the maintenance and operation of the Elks Pool may result in your suspension of pool privileges. 

ANIMALS: Service animals only are permitted in pool area.

FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE POOL RULES MAY RESULT IN SUSPENSION OF SWIMMING POOL PRIVILEGES FOR THE SEASON
