Here's what's happening this week in your club room:
Monday, March 16th – NCAA Bracket Auction: Starts at 6 pm. If your basketball expertise is questionable and your luck is worse, you're perfect for our NCAA Bracket Auction. Show up, throw money at questionable picks, and watch your championship dreams get dunked on by a 12-seed.
Tuesday, March 17th – Closed: Happy St. Patrick's Day. Unfortunately, none of our regular volunteer bartenders are available. If there are any last-minute changes, we will update you via our Facebook page Indianola, Iowa Elks Lodge #2814. We hope you all celebrate St. Patrick's Day like a legend: drink water, watch your step, and don't try to out-dance a leprechaun after three green beers.
Wednesday, March 18th – Grill and Chill: The club room opens at 5 pm, and the grill will be hot from 6 to 8 pm. For just $12, you'll get your choice of a sirloin steak, smoked pork chop, or chicken breast to grill just the way you like it. Each meal includes bread, a baked potato, and a crisp salad.
A friendly reminder: to maintain the same great food and experience, we adjusted the price to $12 per meal beginning March 15th. This small change simply helped us cover rising costs and continue making Grill & Chill something we're proud to host. Thank you for being a part of it and supporting the club room.
This is also a Membership Recruitment Night, so bring along a friend or family member who might be interested in joining the Elks. It's a perfect chance to enjoy great food, good company, and share what our lodge is all about.

NCAA Wrestling Tournament also kicks off today. Be sure to tune in on ESPN+ and cheer on local legend Ryder Downey as he represents UNI in the NCAA Wrestling Tournament this week. Ryder (the nephew of one of your favorite bartenders, Stacey Geiger) will be grappling his way toward the podium over the next few days. We're all rooting for him!

Saturday, March 21st – Open: The bar will be open tonight and all members are welcome. Poker League will be happening, and Happy Hour runs from 5 to 7 pm, so stop in, grab a drink, and enjoy the evening with fellow members.
As always, Happy Hour prices at the bar are from 5 pm to 7 pm on weekdays.
Lastly, a friendly reminder about your dues: it's that time of year. We'd love to see you. Stop in to pay your dues, or you can easily pay online at https://www.elks.org. Pay before April 1st and get an Early Bird sticker on your membership card.
Try to visit the club room at least twice a month to support the lodge and its work in the community.
