Here's what's happening this week in your club room:
Monday, March 23rd – Spotlight Grant Shopping Event: Starts at 6 pm. We can always use volunteers. We'll meet at Indianola Hy-Vee to shop for groceries for Lighthouse Community Center. Some meat and other items will already be pre-packaged, but we still need help shopping for the rest of the order.
Once everything is shopped and paid for, we will need volunteer trucks to load the groceries, deliver them to Lighthouse Community Center, unload them, and help move them into the center where Shannon Johnston will be waiting.
Wednesday, March 25th – Grill and Chill: The club room opens at 5 pm, and the grill will be hot from 6 to 8 pm. For just $12, you'll get your choice of a sirloin steak, smoked pork chop, or chicken breast to grill just the way you like it. Each meal includes bread, a baked potato, and a crisp salad.
Friendly nudge: tonight and tomorrow night the lodge is open and it is an easy way to pay your dues. Our goal was to have everyone's dues paid by the 25th, and we still have more than 70 members outstanding. If you have friends or family who are out of town or hard to reach, feel free to cover their dues and settle up with them later.
If you can't get to the lodge, simply reply to the email and a Square invoice can be sent to you. Your membership helps our lodge support veterans and first responders, give back to local families, schools, and charities, invest in our Antlers youth program, and keep this lodge a welcoming place where friendships thrive.
Thursday, March 26th – Lodge Meeting: We invite you to our next lodge meeting where we'll proudly initiate two new members into our Elks family and celebrate the hard work, commitment, and impact our members have made throughout the year.
Friday, March 27th – Closed for now: Our regular volunteer bartenders are currently unavailable. If someone becomes available, we'll post an update on our Facebook page Indianola, Iowa Elks Lodge #2814. If you are not on Facebook, no problem. Just search for "Indianola Elks" online and you can still view the page and stay informed.

As always, Happy Hour prices at the bar are from 5 pm to 7 pm on weekdays.
