This week our club room will be open:
Wednesday, February 25th – Grill and Chill: The club room will open at 5 pm and the Grill will be hot from 6 to 8 pm. For just $10, you can choose from sirloin steak, a smoked pork chop, or chicken breast to grill yourself. Also included in the meal is bread, a baked potato, and a crisp salad. This is also a Membership Recruitment Night. Please bring any friends or family members interested in joining the Elks to enjoy great food and learn more about our lodge.
Thursday, February 26th – Lodge Meeting: Our monthly business meeting, where your voice matters! Stay informed, share your ideas, and help shape the future of our lodge.
Friday, February 27th – Closed: Unfortunately, none of our regular volunteer bartenders are available. If there are any last-minute changes, we will update you via our Facebook page Indianola, Iowa Elks Lodge #2814. If you don't use Facebook, you can search for "Indianola Elks" on your browser to find our page.
Saturday, February 28th – Pasta with a Purpose: An evening of fun hosted by our Antlers group. Pasta dinner at 5:30 which is $10 per person followed by Pitch. Pitch requires a 2 person team, $10 each player, and the play begins at 6:30. The club room will open at 5:00 pm. Advance sign up required at the bar. Get signed up before Wednesday, February 25th.
As always Happy Hour, prices at the bar are from 5 to 7 pm on weekdays.
If you are a member, a member's spouse, or member's child (that is at least 18 years-old) &ndashyou can help the lodge by becoming a trained volunteer bartender; contact a Trustee to learn how.
Join us at the Lodge on Saturday, February 28, starting at 5:30 PM, for a fun, laid-back night of good food, good cards, and a great cause. Our Elks Antlers will be hosting a pasta dinner beginning at 5:30 PM, serving up plates for $10 per person, with all dinner proceeds and additional donations going toward supporting our veterans.
Alongside dinner, we'll be hosting a Pitch Tournament for those who want to play. This will be 4-point pitch (high, low, jack, game), played in teams of two, and players must bring their own partner. The cost to play is $10 per person ($20 per team). Teams must sign up and pay at the bar by Friday, February 21, so we can finalize the bracket and tournament details.
Because the structure of the tournament depends on how many teams sign up, the bracket format (single or double elimination) and payout structure (one winner or top three) will be determined after sign-ups close and announced prior to play. This allows us to run the tournament smoothly and fairly for everyone participating.
You're welcome to come just for dinner, just to play Pitch, or to enjoy both throughout the evening. Guests are welcome when signed in and accompanied by a member or Spouse/Significant other.
Come out to support our Antlers, enjoy a classic pasta dinner, shuffle up for some friendly competition, and help us raise funds that will directly benefit our veterans. It's a night meant to be social, fun, and meaningful! We hope to see you there.
