Ottawa, KS Lodge No. 803

Ottawa Elks Lodge #803 is located at 114-1/2 W 2nd St. in Ottawa Kansas. This Lodge was instituted on July 30,1902.  There are currently 168 members inducted into our Lodge.  We strive to be an inclusive organization focused on working in our community.

For the Lodge year of 2025-2026 we received 3 different grants from the Grand Lodge:

The Beacon grant was for $4000 and has been used for the COF Disabled Adults (Coffey, Osage and Franklin County) Program. This grant allowed us to fund and prepare Christmas lunch for 250 clients and staff, do and outing of bowling and pizza at the local bowling alley, have an outing at the local movie theater with popcorn and drinks provided and our final event is a St Patrick's Day party with games and chili.

We also were able to receive the Gratitude Grant in the amount of $3500 that helped fund several organizations in the Franklin County area: Adopt a bike, Public Transportation, Meals on Wheels, Franklin County Cancer, Blessing food bags for students, gas cards for Veterans and several other projects.

Another grant received this year was the Spotlight grant. This was a $2000 grant that allowed us to purchase and deliver around 1300 pounds of food to Hope House our local food pantry.

We continue to strive to be seen and work in our community, another way that we are doing this is with a Riders Group. They have monthly meeting and plan events for fund raisers along with taking a little time to get on their bikes and ride as the old song goes. If you happen to be in the area or would like more information on this part of our Lodge or how you can help, stop by we would love to meet you.
