Mission Statement:
Mission Statement of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. To inculcate the principals of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to recognize a belief in God; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its Members; to quicken the spirit of American patriotism; to cultivate good fellowship; to perpetuate itself as a fraternal organization, and to provide for its government, the Benevolent and Protective Order of the United States of America will serve the people and communities through benevolent programs, demonstrating that Elks Care Elks Share.
Lodge Meetings:
Meets first and third Tuesdays at 7pm except JULY, AUGUST & DECEMBER "FIRST TUESDAY ONLY" Lodge Directions: 6718 E Avalon Mesa AZ 85205 (1 Block North of Main Street on Power Road and 1 Block West on Avalon)
Lodge Activities:
We are a very activite lodge. We have activities going on in the comunity as well as at the lodge. Below is a list of what our lodge has going on. Our hope is that you see something that interests you to get involved with. If you have a sugguestion of something else we can please put a suggestion in the suggestion box or reach out to our Exhalted Ruler.
The lodge hours are:
- Sunday from 9am - 7pm
- Monday to Saturday from 10am - 8pm
Covid-19 Information: Face masks over mouth and nose and social distancing is mandontory in the lodge. Also, dancing is not currently allowed at the lodge.

- Jefferson Elementry
- School supply drive
- Christmas in July
- Drug Awarness Program
- Steele Children's Reseach Hospital
- Youth Camp in the Sierra Ancha Mountain

Lodge Activities:
April is Lodge Improvement Month
All activites help to fund the lodge's ability to help out the community. Don't forget to check the lucky number behid the bar for a discount. Check the Mesa Buckhorn Lodge Calendar for exact times
- There are several dinners during each week (See Mesa Buckhorn Lodge Calendar for details)
- House Committee makes the meal Every Sunday and Monday from 4pm - 6pm
- Derek will be operating the kitchen on Wednesday, Friday and Breakfast on Sunday.
- Texas Hold'em at the lodge every Sunday afternoon at 1pm
- Gloves are required during the Covid-19 pandemic
- Gloves will be at the bar if you forget to bring some
- WII Bowling every Monday afternoon at 4pm
- Slingo every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon starting at 4:30pm
- Queen of Hearts is starting back up hopefully on 3/17
- Ladies Luncheon first Thursday of every month at 11:30am
- 50/50 Raffle is every Friday at 5pm
- Meat Raffle is every Saturday at 4pm
- Live Music every Friday night (See schedule below or on the calendar)
- Karoke every Saturday night Deb and Roger
Important Activities This Month:
- Easter Breakfast Specials and Steak Dinner on Sunday Night
- Gary Jordan's Memorical from 2pm to 6pm
- 3 Speed will begin playing at 3pm
- Basket collection going on for the state convension next month
- ?Please bring a basket with BBQ items, gift cards, ect..
- Jefferson Elementry is in need of school supplies (See the flyer in the October Bugle for details)
- There is a collection bin in the lodge lobby
- Don't forget to bring your soup, pop and beer can tabs to lodge and give them to the bar tender on duty
- These will be given to the Ronald McDonald House to benefit children
- During Covid-19 rules as dancing is not allowed
