New Castle, IN Lodge No. 484 was instituted in 1899, and currently has 654 members.This makes it the 2nd largest lodge in Indiana.For the year 2025, the lodge was awarded GRATITUDE, BEACON and FREEDOM Grants from the Elks National Foundation to assist in the development of programs serving local youth, veterans, and others in need.

The lodge meets 1st & 3rd Thursdays, except Jul & Aug, then 1st Thursday only, at 309 S Main St, New Castle, IN.The Exalted Ruler of the Lodge is Mark Bowers, and the Secretary is Dannie Davis.
