The Trust was formed in 2011 and is a non-profit 501 (C) 3 organization approved as tax exempt effective March 17, 2011. As a non-profit tax-exempt organization, donors to the Trust or any of the committees included in the Trust can take a tax deduction on their annual income taxes.
Included in the Trust are the following Lodge Committees: the Special Needs Children’s Committee, Scholarship, Drug Awareness, Youth Activities, Jack’s Kids, and Veterans.
Members of the Trust governing body include the Exalted Ruler, Leading Knight, Loyal Knight, Lecturing Knight, Lodge Secretary, Lodge Treasurer, and the five Lodge Trustees.
Additionally, there are six other at large members that should have some connection to the various committees of the Trust.
You will see a number of events at the Lodge this year as the Trust raises funds to support the activities sponsored by the various committees as well as its own organizational costs.
