The recipient of the 2008-09 Veteran Volunteer of the Year award was Stan Aamodt. Stan has been very active in veterans affairs for many years in Lusk and is well deserving of the honor.
Stan was awarded his plaque at the Memorial Day ceremonies at the Fairgrounds on May 25.
