MARION, Ohio (7/18/08) Marion Elks Lodge No. 32 is pleased to announce that Charisa S. Couch has received an Ohio Elks Educational Grants. A graduate of Tri-Rivers, she will recognized for her merit-based scholarships during a special Youth Day event held in conjunction with the fall meeting of the Ohio Elks in Columbus in August. The $1,000 Ohio Elks grants are available to anyone who has completed high school or its equivalent, and not just high school seniors. These grants are for full or part-time students of any age who plan to or currently attend a college, university or Career or Technology Institution.
Couch is the daughter of Berford and Bonnie Couch of Harpster, and she plans to attend Marion Technical College to study applied business and business management.
