Our Lodge has a long history of improving the lives of veterans in the Vero Beach area. In July, 2023 we saw a need for outdoor picnic tables for BBQs and camraderie at James Arthur Court--a 20-home housing development for veterans. Our Lodge grant coordinator, Flo Synenko, worked with the owner/manager of the court and secured an Elks National Foundation Grant for three picnic tables.Pictured here are Flo Synenko and Lodge member Donnie Sumner, a 35-year Air Force veteran.
