The 1989 must have had the Luck O’ the Irish on our side when our March Elk of the Month, Rudie Pletz, decided to join as a member! Rudie has been instrumental in so many wonderful improvements to our Lodge. Originally a member and Past Exalted Ruler of the Portland Lodge (Now Milwaukie- Portland), Rudie was an associate of the 1989 for many years before transferring last year. In his time as an associate and since his transfer, Rudie has offered immense time and effort to cleaning up our finances and establishing processes and protocols within our bookkeeping program. Rudie is the Chair of the Auditing Committee and ensures that we are adhering to Grand Lodge Procedures in our record keeping. Rudie is committed, experienced, and knowledgeable Elk who generously shares his knowledge and mentorship with other Elks coming up through the Lodge and Officer positions. Rudie can be counted on to greet you with a smile and positive attitude and is always willing to lend a hand when needed. Thank you, Rudie, for all you do to make our Lodge and member shine!
