FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
We at the Hoquiam Elks Lodge take the current situation in our nation very seriously and support our governments decisions and concerns for the public. Effective immediately, our Lodge will be closed to the public and to our members social activities up to and including food service and Lounge services. Our limited activity with the board and office will be for emergency use. If you have need to communicate with us please use electronic formats such as email, phone or text. To reduce any possible overload to our Lodge secretary please also consider contacting our Public Relations chair, Leading Knight, Helen Olsen at 360-640-4066, hoquiamelks1082@gmail.com or send a private message to our Facebook page.
If you are a member in need of paying your dues by April 1st, please consider mailing a check or calling to make a card payment by phone. If you have to make a payment with cash, we ask that you call the Lodge secretary and make an appointment. Limiting our in person contact is the goal.
We recognize that many of you may need help while staying at home and self quaranting. Please consider reaching out to Helen Olsen for information of assistance as you need it. Additionally, if you are able to help we ask that you reach out to Helen and communicate this with her. Coordination efforts are being sorted out so please bear with us while we assess what we can and cannot do.
