On October 19, 2019 the Hoquiam Elks Lodge # 1082 graciously hosted the 2019 volunteer opportunities fair coordinated by Betsy Seidel. There were approximately 36 nonprofit organizations that set up tables with information and welcomed the public to come in, discuss opportunities and see what they could do to help within our communities! This was such a great experience and we look to continue this collaboration as an annual event. If you want to make a difference in your community and have a passion to find something that you whole heartedly agree in, start contacting your local nonprofits and ask what you can do to be involved. Our Hoquiam Elks Lodge is always open to new volunteers as well. Give us a call!
