Happy February!! I can’t wait to hear what Punxsutawney Phil has to say about this coming spring. I hope it’s good news. Tuesday, the third, is our monthly Veteran’s Dinner. I hear that Lois is making her famous meatloaf. If you have the time, stop in and help. If you’re a vet, come down and enjoy a meal at the lodge.
At the February 9th meeting we will hold nominations for 2026-2027–Lodge officers. Elections will take place on February 23rd. If you want to take a more active role in the lodge, think about running for office. The PER’s can answer any questions that you may have.
Valentine’s Day is a day to let loved ones know you care about them. While this is a special day, remember to let those you love know on a regular basis that you care for them.
As you may have heard, the lodge is experiencing some financial concerns. The bar is spending more money than what is being taken in. The House Committee is in the process of reviewing income and expenditures to determine how best to proceed. Based on preliminary information, prices will need to be increased. You will be kept informed and any suggestions are appreciated. If you have any questions, call me.
