The Control Substance Act "CSA"

The Control Substance Act “CSA” regulates 5 different classes of drugs: Narcotics, Depressants, Stimulants, Hallucinogens, and Anabolic steroids. Lets look at each one. Narcotics (also known as “opioids”) comes From the Greek word for “stupor” an originally referred to a variety of substances that dulled the senses and relieved pain. Today some classify all drugs as narcotics but in current terminology the term narcotics are referred to as “opioids”. Examples include the illicit drug heroin, and pharmaceutical drugs like OxyContin, Vicodin, and Codeine, Morphine Methadone and Fentanyl. Street names for narcotics/ opioids include:Smack, Horse, Mud, Brown Sugar, Junk, Black Tat, Big H. Paregoric, Dover’s Powder, MPTP. Hilbilly Heroin, Lean or Purple Drink, OC, OX, OXY, and Sippin Syrup.They come in various forms: tablets, capsules, skin patches, powder, chunks in varying colors, liquid form for oral use and injection liquid form for oral use and injection,
