The Control Substance Act “CSA” regulates 5 different classes of drugs: Narcotics, Depressants, Stimulants, Hallucinogens, and Anabolic steroids. Lets look at each one. Narcotics (also known as “opioids”) comes From the Greek word for “stupor” an originally referred to a variety of substances that dulled the senses and relieved pain.
