Lodge officers, across the nation, attend at least four training sessions, annually. Within our state, two of the session span 3 days each and are conducted by the Washington State Elks Association. They are attended by the 35 lodges within the State of Washington. The other two sessions are 1 day long and are led by the State's Central District Deputies. The training is available to any Elk member and are free.
In September 2026, the Puyallup Elks Lodge hosted the fall District Deputy Clinic. Officers from the five neighboring lodges in the Central District (Burien, Gig Harbor, Lakewood, Olympia, and Tacoma) traveled to the Puyallup Elks Lodge to receive training on a variety of different subjects.
Having a well-run lodge like Puyallup does not just happen. It takes Elk members participating in training and gaining leadership experience through volunteering. We encourage you to be part of the Puyallup Elks Lodge leadership team?
