Copper Cannon



Copper Cannon is an overnight fresh air camp for low income families whose children are between 9-12 years of age. Located in the White Mountains in Franconia, NH Copper Cannon offers crafts, swimming, hiking and a host of outdoor activities. And best of all, it is entirely free! All applicants must thoroughly complete the attached forms and have the completed forms and medical examinations submitted No later than Tuesday, May 15, 2012.

Forms are not to be submitted to Copper Cannon, but to the sponsoring agency or person. Youth Services, Wilson School, Latchkey and Child and Family. The Manchester area session of camp will be from July 22-28, 2012. Campers must arrive no later than 10:00 AM for health screening for lice, open sores, etc. Buses will depart from the Bishop J. O'Neil Center located at 35 South Elm St., on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 11:30 AM and will return on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM.


The Manchester Area week of July 22-28 is sponsored by the Manchester Elks Lodge in conjunction with Youth Service and the Latchkey Program.


Applicants and their families, who default on attending camp, will be required to bear the cost of $450.00 to compensate the camp for their negligence.
