Major Projects Scholarship

$2,000 to one male and one female Student

Eligibility: Any Wyoming high school senior who is a US Citizen is eligible. Male and female students compete separately for identical awards. Award recipients must use their award at an accredited college or university in the United States.

PGER George B Klein Memorial Scholarship

$1,000 to one male and one female Student

Eligibility: Any Wyoming high school senior who is a US Citizen is eligible. Male and female students compete separately for identical awards. Award recipient must enroll in an undergraduate course in an accredited Wyoming College or University.

Vocational Grant, Scholarship Award

$1,000 to four (4) qualifying students

Eligibility: Any Wyoming high school senior who is a US Citizen is eligible. Must be used towards a two-year or less vocational / technical program, culminating in an associate degree, diploma or certificate, but less than a bachelor’s degree.

Greybull Elks Lodge #1431 Scholarships

 

Greybull Elks Lodge #1431 Acadmic Scholarship

The Greybull ELKS Lodge # 1431 will present a $ 600.00 scholarship to a worthy graduating High School Senior within the jurisdiction of this Lodge who will be enrolled in an accredited U.S. College, University or Trade School.

This scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis to the student deemed most worthy on the basis of his or her application presentation, fiscal need, scholarship abilities, qualities of citizenship and leadership. This scholarship must be used in the ensuing academic year following the student's graduation.

The attached forms must be filled out in their entirety and returned to the Chairman of the Youth Activities Committee at the above address no later than April 1st, 2024. A letter from the student and a minimum of one letter from teachers or people who are aware of the student's qualification need to be included with the application. The student applicant’s letter should include information indicating the intended school they plan to attend, degree they hope to receive, etc. A grade transcript must also be included.

All applications become property of Greybull ELKS Lodge # 1431 and will not be returned to the applicant.

Judging will take place at the first regular meeting following scholarship deadline and the winner will be notified within a few days of judging.

Schools within the jurisdiction of Greybull ELKS Lodge # 1431 are: Greybull High School. Riverside High School, Burlington High School and Lovell High School. Note: A student may apply for more than one ELKS sponsored scholarship. However if selected as a winner for more than one they may only accept one ELKS sponsored scholarship or grant.  

 

Greybull Elks Lodge#1431 "Jerry Schmer Family Scholarship"

The Jerry Schmer family is seeking senior recipients for the 2024 Jerry Schmer Family Scholarship. Jerry Schmer
was a 1956 graduate of Greybull High School and worked as an Electrical Lineman until his retirement. These
awards are only for Greybull High School Seniors that can be used at any in-state or out-of-state vocational school,
junior college or four-year, college or university.
Financial need is the main criteria for the awarding of this
scholarship. This scholarship monetary award has a fluctuating amount based on interest earned from an
endowment. Appications can be secured through the Greybull High School Counselor.
