Classic Car Show
Another great summer for the Classic Car Show and you have one more chance to participate! Our next Classic show will be held on Monday, September 20 beginning at 5 pm. The show is FREE to the participants and the public. It is the brainchild of Lenny Incandella, former Elk of the Year for his efforts along with his wife Sharon. Both have put together a team of volunteers who work tirelessly to make this event successful. This season only two months were cancelled due to weather Cars of every vintage and condition appear as drivers show off their prize vehicles. Last month a bus converted into a Camper was a big hit as guests viewed the transformation. Refreshments are always available and the kitchen crew is busy with hot dogs, hamburgers, onion rings and more. The group is dedicated to helping Veterans and last year donated $1600. From the food concession and donations to Feed Our Vets. Feed Our Vets is an organization based in Post Mills, NY which operates two food pantries, one in NY and another in Ohio. However, the most unique thing about this group is in cooperation with Walmart, they issue gift cards for food to any Vet who asks and needs help. Right now they are serving 36 states and over 57,000 veterans and their families. The organization is completely volunteer. We want to thank our wonderful crew of volunteers who are so dedicated to this event. We hope you will support them by coming to our next event and join in on the fun!
