I am excited to have been elected as your Exalted Ruler for this year. I come from a family committed to the Elks way of life and follow in my father’s footsteps as I take on this important role in our lodge. I look forward to working with our new and continuing officers and would like to take a moment to thank them for their time and efforts to bring our lodge forward and see our goals come to fruition. Our main goal this Elk year is to focus on the Elks Cardinal Virtues: Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love & Fidelity. I am passionate about supporting the Smithfield community and know that our members will join me in these efforts.
There are numerous ways to get involved and support our lodge- whether it be joining one of our committees, attending our monthly lodge and board meetings, or supporting the many events we will host this year.
Please continue to promote the benefits of becoming an Elks Member by inviting your friends and family to join us. We are accepting new members all the time. What better way to be part of the Elks community than inviting someone to join you!
Lastly, I encourage you to continue to donate to the Elks National Foundation (ENF). The mission of the ENF is to help Elks build stronger communities. We fulfill this pledge by investing in communities where Elks live and work. We help youth develop lifelong skills, send students to college, meet the needs of today's veterans, support the charitable work of the state Elks associations, and fund projects that improve the quality of life in local Elks communities. Your direct contributions help support those efforts.
