On Friday, June 26th is the Veterans Appreciation Carnival at the Boise VA Medical Center from 11:00am-2:00pm. This carnival is open to all veterans and families. We have been asked to cook and serve a barbecue for attendees (last year we served about a 1,000 meals)and assist Vets in wheelchairs from the State Veterans Home get to and enjoy the festivities. Volunteers need to meet 10:00 am at the Flag Pole on the Parade Grounds in front of the Boise VA Medical Ctr (500 Fort St). We need about 20 volunteers.
