Wow---where has 2024 gone? It seems only a day or two ago that we had officer installation, and now we are in September. School is back in session, and football weekends are starting. We have so many great teams in the area, I'm sure you have your favorites. The "preseason" for hockey also starts in September---IYKYK. If you are a Blues fan, check out the Missouri Elks Association website. Elks Night at the Blues is scheduled for November 2. Ticket information is on the moelks website. The September calendar is full of events for all, starting with our annual Labor Day Fish Fry. Be sure to check out the calendar and sign up for the weekly "Shouts", if you have not already done so. We have several new members in the Lodge. If you see someone you don't know, be sure to introduce yourself and make them feel "wELKome". We have some illness in the Lodge; if you know of a member ill at home or in the hospital, please let our secretary or one of the girls in the Lounge know. Sometimes a prayer is all we can offer up, and we all need someone praying for us! Like Elks across this nation, your Lodge is loud and proud: we are "Elkdoms Heart for America" in the Heartland of America! Come out and see what you have missed!
It's Great to Be an Elk!
