Our Patio is Getting a Makeover!
The Patio renovation has begun so please be aware of the construction zone. The extension to the concrete pad has been poured and is currently curing before the fencing can be put back up. Because of this the smoking area has been temporarily moved to the breezeway of the large room in the front.
The next stage of improvement is cleaning and prepwork to paint and add a stone finish to the metal columns. An elevated stage will be contructed for bands, the bar area will be moved to allow for dance space and more seating. In the future we will be bringing out the patio cover, putting in beautiful landscaping, creating a Veterans Memorial area, bringing back the horseshoe pits and building a gazebo that would make a great place for weddings or other events.
As much of the work on this will be completed by Elks volunteers to defray costs. If you have a few hours to spare to become part of the crew, email our Lodge Manager, Mark Tarjeft at Elks2350@yahoo.com
We are hoping to make this a fun place to hang out, have outdoor entertainment and just create a fun space. All of this work will be completed through donations and fundraisers. Any all all donations will be accepted and appreciated towards this great project.
The Veterans Memorial Project
The area to the north side of the lodge is being developed as our new Veterans Memorial Garden. It will be the perfect way to remember and honor our veterans. Plans include beautiful landscaping, memorial pavers and/or bench that can be purchased with the veterans name on it. Pavers can be purchased at $100 each that includes 3 lines of text to memorialize your veteran. For more information contat Janet Hayes, Veterans Chairperson, at hayesjan20@gmail.com.
RV Parking on Site Our location does have RV dry parking, we welcome you to dry park in the parking lot. See the bartender inside the Lodge to pay for your stay.
