Venice Nokomis, FL Lodge No. 1854

WELCOME to the website for VENICE-NOKOMIS ELKS LODGE #1854!

A sprawling single story, newly painted building, our Lodge is located just off I-75 at Exit #195 (EAST). Turn left onto Knight’s Trail Road (North), turn left at first intersection (Discovery Way) and immediately turn right into a big parking lot for 1021 Discovery Way, North Venice, FL. Look for the proudly waving American Flag and bronze ELK sculpture near our covered entrance.

Our building was designed with many amenities perfect for entertaining. Van Hoose Hall with seating for 325 has a large, staffable, full service bar and wooden dance floor. This beautiful room is perfect for a variety of public functions such as weddings, celebrations and both large and small company functions.

The Lounge, seating around 80 people, is where you’ll find a great staff of bartenders just waiting to make your favorite concoction. They have membership applications and will be delighted to help you complete the form---your first step in becoming a member of this fine philanthropic fraternal order with all of its benefits. We are a NON-SMOKING facility; however a covered area is provided for smokers if needed.

Look at the helpful Calendar of Events where you’ll find the Lodge hours and the times we are serving food and beverage. Call the Office (941-486-1854) if you have any questions.

All Elks are invited to join us at our regular monthly meetings. They are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm. You would be a welcome addition whenever you visit! Don't forget we also have Orientation on the 4th Monday of each month for new candidates awaiting to become Elks.

The B.P.O.E (ELKS) is a non-profit organization whose members work hard for our charities-VETERANS, HARRY-ANNA (Children) and ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION. You may read more about these on the www.elks.org website.

Our membership has learned that the camaraderie and happiness attained while working together to reach our goals makes the tasks seem easy.

Come visit us and experience our hospitality while touring the facility of which we are so proud.

Invite a friend to join the Elks by using the tab in the upper left hand corner of the main page. Fill in the appropriate information and your friend will be sent an application. He/she will then complete the application and forward it to the Lodge Secretary. That's all it takes.
