Our Efforts Paid off!

Early on May 4th, a group of talented, motivated and highly visible Elks assembled to pick up trash from Route 45, between Philo Road and Monticello Line Road. Luckily there was no rain, but the ground was very soggy, from the storms earlier in the week, yet we persevered! Many commercial-grade trash bags were filled and neatly stacked plus the road looks incredibly better. Afterwards there were grilled brats, hot dogs and many sides, prepared by Jeff Pribble, Gloria Marsh, Dean Chesnut, and Tom Tankersley!

Jeff and Gloria attended the 2019 MDA Fundraiser, representing the Champaign-Urbana Elks Lodge 2497, shown here with Jordan and Summer. This event was held at Bunny's Tavern in Urbana.
