Julie Jewell was honored as the 2013 Mother of the Year at the lodge's annual Mother's Day Ceremony on May 11, 2013. She was joined by her husband, Steve, and many of her five children and 13 grandchildren.

Past Exalted Ruler Mike Lange displays four awards won by the Skowhegan-Madison Lodge at the state convention on May 4, 2013: Best Lodge Bulletin (Central District), Highest Per-Capita ENF Contributions (751-1,000 members), Best Public Relations Program (Central District) and Maroon Nemer State Chairman of the Year.
