Erie Lodge 67’s PER’s awarded (2) $1,000.00 general higher education scholarships to one student entering their freshman year and one student entering their sophomore year. The students were tasked on the application to select a local nonprofit charity, research that charity and advocate for their cause. In the spirit of benevolence, each student was provided a $500.00 donation, on behalf of Erie Lodge 67, to hand to their charity. Kasey Kensill was the freshman winner, advocating for the Veterans Miracle Center, Erie. Emily Edmonds was the sophomore winner advocating for The Anna Shelter, a nonprofit, no kill shelter for needy and neglected animals. An awesome job was done by all that applied, and the Lodge is very proud and wishes them all the best in their next chapter of higher education.
