The Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 Past Exalted Rulers Association provided sixty-two (62) families a “Basket for the Needy” with their annual program. Volunteers for distribution of baskets were, PER’s Joseph Barbe, Scott R. Harris DVC, Gregory C. Hudy DVP, Steven M. Peters and Gerald W. Goodwin, along with the help of Vinckier Foods, Tammy Peters, Sue Hudy, Alayna Hudy, Mike Adamkiewicz, David Crimmins, Leading Knight Gary Nesbitt, and Loyal Knight John Cuthbertson. These Volunteers put together 62 full baskets, which included Turkeys, Hams, 5 lbs. of Potatoes, a loaf of bread, many canned and boxed goods, a cooking pan in a laundry basket for delivery on December 17th. A very special thank you to ALL the Elks Lodge 343 members, too many to name, who came through once again with donated hams, turkeys and food products or assisted financially, in bringing a smile too so many this Holiday Season.
