The Elks Lodge #2177 and Emblem Club #507 presented a check to the Carson City Senior Center for the Meals on Wheels Program.
It's no mystery, that on November 18th, Carson City Elks Lodge members Marian and Frank Furnari presented a check for $1500.00 to Courtney
Warner, the Director of the Carson City Senior Center. The check proceeds came from
the annual murder mystery play that the Elks Lodge #2177, and the Emblem Club
#507, held to raise money for the Carson City Meals on Wheels Program.
The Meals on Wheels Program provides Seniors that are unable
to shop or cook meals due to advancing age, illness, disability and/or
geographic location with a nutritious, fresh meal, delivered Monday through Friday and
frozen meals for weekend and holiday closures.
