Fort Myers Lodge was proud to honor local veterans on Saturday, May 21st. A brief ceremony began with playing anthems of the five branches of US military, followed by a color guard presenting the colors. After the ceremony, veterans and guests enjoyed a delicious dinner.
After dinner Esquire David Lake PSP presented David Santini, vice-president of Hearts and Homes for Veterans Inc. a check for $7000. The donation was made possible through a $4000 Beacon Grant, $2500 Gratitude Grant, and $500 from the Lodge Charity Account.
