Six String Hero's
This year, the Ellisville Elks received the Veterans Freedom Grant. The was used in conjunction with the Six String Hero's Program. We purchased 8 Guitars that were presented to Veterans at Jefferson Barracks on December 1st, 2014 for completing the Six String Hero's Program for Post-traumatic Stress Syndrome. We provided a pizza dinner for the Veterans, and then had the pleasure to watch the instructors work with the Veterans as they learned to play their guitars.
