Elks National Foundation 2016 Legacy Awards Application

Before registering to apply, please verify that you meet the eligibility criteria.

Are you eligible to apply for an ENF Legacy Award?

  1. Are you the child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2013, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2013? Your Elk sponsor must also be a paid-up member through March 31, 2016. Great-grandchildren are not eligible. If your parent and grandparent are both Elk members, you should apply through the parent's Elks Lodge.
  2. Are you a high school senior?
  3. Are you planning to attend an accredited U.S. school, college or university? (Note: Applicants from Guam, Panama, Puerto Rico and the Philippines may apply Legacy Awards toward schools, colleges or universities in their respective homes.)
  4. Do you plan to take the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT) by December 31, 2015?
If you answered yes to all the questions above, you can now register to start the application process. Your application must be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon) Central Time on January 29, 2016.

The Elks National Foundation is not responsible for any technical errors that may arise as you complete and submit your application. We especially encourage you to upload required documents early, even if you aren't ready to submit your application. In addition, it is in your best interest to submit your application early to avoid any last minute web traffic problems. If your application is received after the contest deadline, it will be ineligible, regardless of the reason for late submission.

Legacy Awards winners will be announced in late April 2016.
