Connecticut State Elks Association

The Connecticut Elks Association supports three Major Projects: Connecticut Special Olympics, a Child Safety Program, and the Safe Transport Program.

The CEA provides monetary and volunteer support for Special Olympics programs throughout the year as a Presenting Sponsor for Unified Sports in school programs and a Platinum Sponsor for the Law Enforcement Torch Run. Each year, the CEA helps run the Unified Sports Holiday Classic by bringing in hundreds of volunteers to support multiple sports activities throughout the day.

Through its Child Safety Program, the CEA sponsors local lodges to help them run child safety events that focus on bicycle safety, fire and smoke safety, drug awareness, and car seat clinics. Finally, through the Safe Transport Program, the CEA supports the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in transporting children in need of special support to and from medical appointments.
