Tucson Girl Scout Troup#460 assisting with Flag Day Ceremony
Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Tucson Lodge #385 recently honored eight recipients of the 2021 Most Valuable Student (MVS) Scholarship, totaling $7,200, during the lodge Annual Youth Awards Banquet held May 2, 2021. These high school senior recipients were judged based on academics, citizenship, work experience, community service, honors and awards, leadership and extracurricular activities, and a 500-word essay. Richard Campbell, Arizona Elks South District Scholarship Chairperson, was in attendance and presented 7 of the recipients each with a $2,000 Arizona Elks Association Scholarship award that cumulated in a total of $14,000 for higher education. Tucson Lodge #385 also gave 4 violins from Harry's program to local Tucson high school musicians from Flowing Wells and Oro Valley.

With all going on, Lodge 385 was not able to take kids to Walmart for Clothe A Child, so the lodge went to the school. Trustee/PER B. Holyoak and rep from Helen Keeling Elementary School receiving, soccer balls notebooks, other school learning related items, plus $2,500 worth of gift cards for kids Clothe A Child, made possible by the Elks Beacon Grant.
Dec 7th, 2019- Member Jesse Lugo (Carol) of Lugo Charities with Santa & Mrs. Claus, in partnership with Tucson Elks Lodge 385 will be donating 500 bicycles to underprivileged local children and various non-profit children organizations in the Tucson AZ community

BPOE, Tucson Lodge 385 recently honored nine recipients of the 2019 Most Valuable Student (MVS) Scholarship totaling $6,475 during the lodge Annual Youth Awards Banquet held during National Youth Week. These high school senior recipients were judged based on citizenship, work experience, community service, honors and awards, leadership and extracurricular activities, academics, and a 500 word essay.
