Tucson AZ Elks Lodge #385 "Bike In A Box" December 10, 2022 event went smooth with 500 bicycle's given to local Tucson underprivilege children a Christmas present. Photos include ER Susan Trecartin, Trustee Jesse Lugo (Lugo Charities), Santa and Mrs. Clause and Trustee Wayne Burns controlling foot traffic. Each child left with a Christmas bicycle and safety helmet that Tucson Medical Center custom fitted each child. Merry Christmas.

Special Olympics 9th Annual Breakfast with Champions The Special Olympics 9th Annual Breakfast with Champions was held at the Tucson Convention Center on October 27th. Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Tucson Lodge #385 recently honored eight recipients of the 2021 Most Valuable Student (MVS) Scholarship, totaling $7,200, during the lodge Annual Youth Awards Banquet held May 2, 2021. These high school senior recipients were judged based on academics, citizenship, work experience, community service, honors and awards, leadership and extracurricular activities, and a 500-word essay. Richard Campbell, Arizona Elks South District Scholarship Chairperson, was in attendance and presented 7 of the recipients each with a $2,000 Arizona Elks Association Scholarship award that cumulated in a total of $14,000 for higher education. Tucson Lodge #385 also gave 4 violins from Harry's program to local Tucson high school musicians from Flowing Wells and Oro Valley.
