On February 25, 2021, it was voted on and passed to change the time of Lodge meetings from 7:30pm to 7:00pm, starting with the March 11th meeting.
The Lodge floor will be closed off for refinishing March 1st-7th. This is the last big piece of the remodel to be completed!

New Officers needed! If you have a desire to be a part of the traditions of our Elks Lodge and/or would like to be a part of the Board of Directors, then join us for an informational session WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 10TH, 6:30PM in the South Dining Room. There is no length of membership requirement. This is the time to ask questions and receive information from the Past Exalted Rulers with regards to serving your Lodge. These are men and women who have led an Elks Lodge in the past and can answer any question you may have. We would love to see you there!
Elks Legacy Scholarship deadline is February 5th, 2021. The Legacy Scholarship is open to any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2018, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2018, is eligible to apply. The Elk must be a paid-up member through March 31, 2021. Great grandchildren are not eligible. The applicant must be a high school senior. This afternoon Grand Exalted Ruler Paul Ryan and his wife Stacy squeezed in a brief stop at the Arvada Elks Lodge to review the progress of the our Lodge Construction.
Unfortunately, due to some sprinkler/fire system issues, the Fire Dept. will not let us open until they are resolved. Look for more information next week. Thank you for your patience.

FYI Arvada Lodge Members - Carl Kunze has a cracked hip and is at Sloans Lake Rehab. Helen Montrose suffered a stroke and is in the hospital. That is all the information we have at this time. I am sure they would appreciate your prayers and well wishes. Contact Gene Schluter if you have questions.
Pete Frank gave a great update on the construction at Thursday’s lodge meeting. Pete said after many lengthy and not so nice meetings with the contractor it looks like they are all finally on the same page.

Unfortunately the 2020 Arvada Elks Golf Tournament has been cancelled. We can't wait to see everyone at next year's tournament, please join us July, 2021!
MEMORIAL DAY is a special time to pay tribute to our dearly departed especially the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.
Attention members - our construction is about to kick into high gear on Monday. There will be many more workers there and a lot of activity. That being said, in order to help our contractor comply with OSHA safety guidelines, only construction personnel will be allowed in the building during construction. We will try to get as many pictures as possible and get them posted so we can all see the progress. Thanks, Your Building Committee

The long-awaited remodel will start with demolition on Monday, November 4th. We are looking for volunteers for tomorrow morning (Nov 2nd) at 9:00am to help with moving furniture and boxes to prepare start of construction.

The South (57th and Yukon) parking lot is now open to the public for PAID PARKING. The North parking lot will remain for ELKS MEMBERS ONLY. Paid Public Parking rates are $3 for the first two hours and $1 for each additional hour. Members may park in the South lot for free as long as they display their Elks parking tag, however, we encourage Members to only use the South lot when there are no parking places available in the North lot.
