Elk of the Month - April 2024
As we begin the new Lodge year, we start by acknowledging an exceptional Elk of the Month and great friend to many. Janet Folk has made a wonderfully positive impact during her short time as an Elk - other than stealing everyone's money on Casino Night! Janet has been involved in almost every Lodge event/Committee during her time including lending her support to Christmas Baskets, Women and Childrens Center, Easter Brunch, Mother's Day and Father's Day events, Breakfast with Santa, the VetREST Dining-In dinner, the OR/WA PER Association dinner, Prime Rib nights, numerous volunteer dinners, New Year's Eve Casino Night (the aforementioned hustle), and numerous others. Janet always comes in with a smile and a "what can I do to help" attitude. We are so fortunate to have Janet as part of the 1989, helping us to always play our best hand! Thank you, Janet, for all you do to make our Lodge great!
