Exalted Rules Message - June 2023
My Members,
Well, summer is here and now is the time to roll up our sleeves and start work on attaining the goals we set out for this year. Our goals included increased membership and increased participation in Lodge activities. We, as officers, are looking forward to the summer activities that the lodge as planned and encourage the membership to join in. Please refer to our Lodge Calendar.
The Massachusetts State Convention is right around the corner! We still have a few rooms saved if you would like to attend. I encourage all members to attend this year in Hyannis, MA on June 9th-11th. Our annual Flag Day celebration will be held on June 16th in the Quarry Room. Also, on Sunday, June 18th at 10am we will be celebrating Father’s Day at the Lodge. The Scholarship Committee will be holding it award night on June 21st in the Tirrell Room with the Lieutenant Governor as our guest speaker.
I would like to personally welcome all the new members of Quincy Lodge #943. A “Tip of the Antlers” to the Membership Committee on another fine class of new members. A big thank you to the members who cooked on our new grill for our first Memorial Day cookout at the lodge. Lastly, I would like to thank our lodge manager, the kitchen crew for preparing the breakfast, Sue Willet for arranging the entertainment, and all members that attended our Mother’s Day function.
